SMCT manufactures a wide range of indexable milling tools and carbide inserts for them, as well as solid carbide end mills. Milling tools show top results in machining a variety of materials, including all steel grades, high-strength titanium and aluminum alloys, heat-resistant nickel alloys. The manufactured designs are improved on the basis of continuous research in the field of Machine Dynamics, Solid Mechanics and material cutting processes.
The wide range of modern, high-quality indexable milling tools and solide carbide end mills produced by SMCT is the result of more than thirty years of research in the field of applied mechanics and material processing by cutting. Modern, highly mobile production based on the use of solid modeling, CAD/CAM systems and five-axis machining centers connected to a computer network enables the production of not only series but also special cutting tools, which are supplied for export, in short time. The standard indexable milling tools program covers the diameter range from 8 to 320 mm and solid carbide end mills from 3 to 25 mm.
The standard program of SMCT milling tools covers a wide range of applications. This includes end mills and face mills, milling cutters for side and profile milling, disc mills.
